“Franchising” as the name implies, is the

relationship between a “franchisee” and

“franchisor”. Where the franchisee pays the

franchisor a fee to do business in their name due to

brand equity. A typical example would be obtaining

a McDonalds license to open a location in your area

of business. Versus, deciding to open said fast

food and operating under your name. In this video I

take a few minutes to spell out the advantages and

disadvantages of each so that, at the end the day,

with the facts available to you, you the business

owner can make a choice on whether or not

franchising is good for you.
